With the grace of Lord Udupi Shri Krishna, Mukhyaprana, and Sri Guru Rayaru and the Blessings of Sri Sugunendra Theerta Swamiji of Udupi Shri Puthige Shri Krishna Matha, we have now got a go ahead to announce (NDA is lifted) that we have exchanged contract to acquire a huge and beautiful property of 7000 sq. ft which comes with a few car parking places in St Albans (Just on the norther borders of M25, straight opposite to St. Albans Mainline station). Property comes with large high rising Pooja Hall with a stage, several multipurpose halls spread across 3 floors, Kitchen + WC in each floor and a separate four bed cottage for Priest accommodations. Property is licensed for religious worship and education while cottage has residential permission as per local government.
Property is worth of £2mil+ which we have managed to secure for £1.75mil after months of negotiation. We have pre-approved mortgage of £1mil from the bank. Funding from the mutt including donations is £700k. We have pre-agreed repairs and reserves which need to be kept as per governance of charity. This means, we will need to raise roughly another £200k with an ongoing commitment to repay mortgage on monthly basis. We will get back to you, at the earliest, with more details and proper plans to accomplish the great Sankalpa of His Holiness Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji.
Expected completion date is 15th of Dec 2024. We are now looking for volunteers to help in a lot of activities which we need to complete on war foot.
And of course! We will be worshiping Our Lord Udupi Krishna, Venkateshwara, Mukhya Parana and Sri Raghavendra Swami Vrundavana at our new location along with daily Annadana, Bhajans and the Patha Pravachana etc activities very soon !
All events with much more celebration will be held in our new temple very soon.
