With the Blessings of His Holiness Shri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, we are pleased to invite you all to participate in the “Ashlesha Bali” on the auspicious day of Naaga Panchami, on Sunday, August 7th at 9:30am.
Thousands of Devotees are performing this very special Pooja every day at Shri ‘Kukke Subramanya’ Temple in INDIA to get rid of ‘Naaga Dosha’ / “Sarpa Dosha”.
Ashlesha is the Vedic name of Naaga or Sarpa. Ashlesha Bali is also famously known as Naaga Bali is explained in Agama Granthas as a remedy for Naaga Dosha / Sarpa Dosha (which is sometimes indicated in the horoscope) and to please God Almighty Naaga-Antaryaami Sankarshana.
By performing this Seva sincerely, the devotees will not only find peace of mind, but also can get rid of the Naaga Dosha / Sarpa Dosha as well as remove any obstacles, obtain better job prospectus, good health, wealth, marriage, Santhaana Vridhi and abundant success in their life.
The Priest has to draw an attractive ‘Mandala’ of ‘Naaga’ including 72 squares and a ‘Padma’ and the exact signs of Naagas with colorful Rangoli Powder in a traditional manner. Along with Sankarshana Pooja, priest has to invoke the 8 Naaga Kulaadhipati’s and 72 Parivaara Naagas by chanting each name of Naaga Devata as described by Sri Vedavyasa in Mahaa Bhaarata.
Then the ‘Kalpokta Pooja’ will be performed in detail along with Panchamruta Abhisheka followed by ‘ Bali’. Bali means special Naivedya or offering to Naagas. While chanting specific ‘Matras’ the Bali of ‘Apoopa and Paayasa’ will be offered to each ‘Naaga Devata’ separately. Pooja mantras are from Rigveda and Yajurveda and some shlokas are from Mahaa Bharata and the Puranas.
You are welcome to take part in this special divine Pooja as a sponsor. Suggested donation towards the Seva Sponsorship is £25.
If you are not able to attend the program in person, you can also contact our Priest Santhosh Bhat (on 07448504858) with your name and other details. The Sankalpa will be performed in your name and the Prasada will be sent to you by post.
